I’ve been to Greece a number of times with important people to me or one time without. It’s hard to choose which I like better – the mainland with the history and ruins or the Islands with the beauty and fun. I need to go back to the Islands so I can really enjoy the fun part of the country.

When I met my brother and sister in law I planned to take trains to get around the mainland because I was stuck in “Eurail” mode from my younger day travels. He mentioned it might be faster to just rent a car and drive and he was exactly right.
