This was during my trip to the Soviet Union when it was still actually the Soviet Union. Ukraine seemed very much to be part of the USSR trip and at first when I created this site, these pictures were not split out into another country, but they sure are now after the Russian invasion in 2022.

It was interesting to see the religious shrines and churches despite the Communist view on religion.
