I’m an entrepreneur at heart. I work at an early stage software company Work Market starting up their Sales Engineering department. It’s been great working with other entrepreneurs – especially who started on Long Island.
For some history, in 1996, I cofounded FatWire Software, an enterprise web content management company. I ran the FatWire Products Group and Engineering team and was responsible for product strategy and direction. I grew an offshore Engineering team in Hyderabad, India to support development and QA processes for the product. I became an expert on Persuasive Content Centric Applications and spoke many times on personalization strategies and targeted marketing best practices. The company is now owned by Oracle Software.
In 2007, I started Karma411, a crowdfunding site that raises money for nonprofits and companies. I later rebranded to Crowdster. I’ve worked with non-profits such as Autism Speaks, the Boys and Girls Club, United Way and EAC regarding people-to-people fundraising and social media strategies.
I started my career at Andersen Consulting, where I began as a programmer and then managed development teams that connected consumer services to large commercial databases for telecommunications clients. I received my MBA from the University of Maryland with a concentration in Information Technology and Operations Management and his BA from Tufts University.
I live in Port Washington, Long Island with my beautiful wife and three young children.
